{"id":272,"date":"2025-07-20T17:55:55","date_gmt":"2025-07-20T17:55:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lavachebleuecreuse.fr\/?page_id=272"},"modified":"2025-08-01T12:11:04","modified_gmt":"2025-08-01T12:11:04","slug":"algemene-voorwaarden-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lavachebleuecreuse.fr\/?page_id=272&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Terms and conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The terms and conditions below apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 \u2013 Applicability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, reservations and agreements with La Vache Bleue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By making a reservation and paying a deposit, you declare that you agree to these Terms and Conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These terms and conditions take precedence over any other terms and conditions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Availability, payment and rates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Availability of our g\u00eete can be checked on our website. Reservations can be made via the reservation form. When making the reservation, you also confirm that you have read the General Terms and Conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A reservation is only final after receipt of a deposit of 50% of the total rent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The remaining amount must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the arrival date. You will receive a payment reminder 8 weeks prior to your stay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For reservations within 6 weeks before arrival, the full rental price must be paid within 5 days after reservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payments can be made via direct bank transfer, following the instructions in the confirmation email.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the event of late payment we reserve the right to cancel the reservation, whereby the regular cancellation conditions apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The current rates are listed on our website. Rates include beds made, water and electricity, but exclude mandatory cleaning costs and tourist tax.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Cancelling a reservation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cancellations must be made in writing via <a href=\"mailto:lavachebleuecreuse@gmail.com\">lavachebleuecreuse@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In case of cancellation up to 4 weeks before the arrival date, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total rental price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In case of cancellation within 4 weeks before the arrival date, the cancellation costs are 100% of the total rental price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We recommend taking out travel and cancellation insurance to limit any financial risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Modification of a reservation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Extension of the length of stay is possible, subject to availability and at the applicable rates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shortening the length of stay is considered partial cancellation and is subject to the cancellation policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unused nights, for example due to early departure or late arrival, do not entitle you to a refund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Arrival and departure:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the day of arrival, your stay will be available from 15:00.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the day of departure, you must leave your accommodation no later than 10:00 am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Use of the accommodation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tenants must handle the accommodations and inventory with care. Any damage must be reported immediately and may be charged.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is not allowed to smoke in the accommodations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is not allowed to throw materials such as diapers, sanitary towels, wet wipes or plastic down the drain. We have a septic tank that cannot withstand this and this way you also prevent blockages. The costs for clearing blockages or pumping the septic tank are at the expense of the tenant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our g\u00eete is suitable for up to 2 people. Changes in the number of people must be discussed in advance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visitors are welcome, but only after prior consultation and approval by the owner. Additional costs may apply for overnight stays by visitors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Liability and security<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La Vache Bleue is not liable for any loss, damage or injury during your stay, unless caused by gross negligence on our part.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are solely responsible and liable for any damage or injury that you, your companions or your dog(s) cause to other guests, La Vache Bleue or third parties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children should always be supervised by an adult.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of facilities is at your own risk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Force majeure<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the event of force majeure (e.g. extreme weather conditions, natural disasters or government measures), we are not liable for the inability to perform our obligations. We will do our best to find a suitable solution in such situations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Pets<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our Gite is pet friendly. You can simply take your four-legged friend up to a max of 2 in our gite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Other<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Charging electric vehicles is not possible at our gite. There are no facilities available for charging electric cars, and guests are requested to use external charging stations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free Wi-Fi is available for normal use. We are not responsible for any interruptions in the internet connection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>11. If you are not satisfied<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are not satisfied with something on arrival or during your holiday, please tell us immediately.
