Welcome to La Vache Bleue in the Creuse, the beautiful heart of France. We are Suzanne and Wilbert Habraken and we welcome you to our gîte.
In 2022 we bought our dream house in France. At the beginning of 2025 we settled permanently (with our dog Dexter) in France, away from the hustle and bustle in the Netherlands, to live in the French countryside, in the middle of nature and with all the peace and space we could wish for.
In June 2025 we opened our gîte, a small, characterful typical French house, fully equipped with the fantastic views over the Vallée de la Gartempe. We hope that you can enjoy the peace and quiet here as much as we have been doing all this time.
